Mindfulness Based Approaches
I often employ clinical approaches in my practice that incorporate mindfulness, meditation and mind-body techniques, such as acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and mindfulness-based stress reduction, while also integrating eastern traditions and philosophies. These therapeutic styles are utilized when working with a variety of issues, such as life transitions, past trauma, anxiety and depression.
Culturally Sensitive Therapy
It’s a unique experience to be a minority, one that can be challenging at times. I foster a compassionate, safe, felt experience where cultural issues can be openly discussed, while also focusing on coping techniques and cognitive strategies to help alleviate internal and external stressors. Additionally, I will work with you to explore and process any cultural issues related to racism, acculturation, biculturalism, and cross-generational matters.
Harnessing Creativity
When developed, our creative voice can enhance our sense of vitality and aliveness. As part of the therapeutic process, I will help you fulfill that potential by exploring the inner wisdom it offers. I will also assist you with issues that might come up on a creative career path, such as creative blocks, job uncertainty, existential issues, and work-life balance. If you are not in a creative profession, our sessions might focus on making more room for creative fulfillment in your already busy life.

I am passionate about elevating women’s lives and I will work with you to help you cultivate a more compassionate and empowering relationship with yourself. Together, we will also navigate issues such as body-image, dating, infertility, divorce, stressors of motherhood, and postpartum depression.
Mindful Parenting
Parenting can be rewarding and stressful all at once. I will assist you in cultivating a parenting approach that focuses on your children’s well-being. Through mindful parenting strategies and other innovative tools, we will achieve desired behavioral goals and emotional resilience for your children.
Children and Teen Therapy
Working with children, aged 10 to 18, I customize a treatment plan that is tailored to their individual needs. I will provide a safe, empowering space for your child’s development and growth. We will navigate issues, such as peer pressure, cyber bullying, body image, identity development, dating, low self-esteem, trauma, anxiety, pandemic related challenges, academic challenges, and depression.
